Exodus 33 – Pursuing God’s Presence

  • by

This week, Julia Allan walks through Exodus 33. After confronting the Israelites over the golden calf, Moses returns to the mountain to meet with God. There, Moses pleads with God to extend grace and mercy to the Israelites and not remove His presence from the midst of His people. Moses understands that it’s God’s presence dwelling among the Israelites that makes them a light to the world. The same is true for us today, both as individuals and as the church. We need to pursue God’s presence if we’re going to be a light to our neighbors and neighborhoods.
