We don’t think about the youngest people in our community as the future of the church. We believe they’re vital and necessary members of the community right now.
Our Kids Ministry is for newborns through 5th Grade students. Every week we aim to create a safe and welcoming place of wonder and discovery for children as they learn to follow Jesus.
We begin our weekly worship gatherings together as one whole community where we sing and worship Jesus together. Our kids sing, move, and participate fully alongside their families.
When our time of musical worship ends, kids transition into their classrooms for a time of play and then an age appropriate lesson that focuses on the same Bible passage and topic that aligns with what the adults in the church are learning. After the lesson, kids engage in activities that help them further engage that week’s content.
We have three Kids Rooms:
- the Nursery Room is for infants through toddlers
- the Preschool and Kindergarten Room
- the Elementary Room for students in 1st-5th grades
Each week we seek to create an environment where every child who enters our Kids spaces knows they’re safe, accepted, made in the image of God, and included. We are inclusive of children of varying abilities and neurotypes.
To ensure the safety and security of every child as best we can, we ask every parent or caregiver to register and check-in their children each Sunday at our check-in kiosk. All of our adult volunteer leaders have current state background checks and clearances.
