Welcome to Garden City Church! Every Sunday morning we gather from all across the city to build and deepen relationships, sing, and learn about Jesus. No matter who you are, you’re welcome here!
We exist to help people know and become more like Jesus in every facet of their lives. That’s our hope for you and, if you’re caring for children, it’s our hope for them, too!
It’s our belief that each of us have a meaningful role to play in our families, friendships, workplaces, and neighborhoods. We’ve been made to do good work and our role is to help you discover and then do the good work God’s prepared for you!
We want to be a church that plays a meaningful role in our neighbors’ and neighborhoods’ transformation, so that every person and place in Pittsburgh can flourish.

Singing
When we sing we’re knit together as a community and we’re drawn into God’s presence. Worshiping through singing is a way we can bring all that we are and everything we experienced during the week before Jesus. Almost every week we devote 15-20 minutes to singing worship songs as a community.
Teaching
One of the primary ways we can come to know who Jesus is and become more like Him is by learning the things He taught the people who followed Him. We take stories from the Bible and teach them in ways that connect to our everyday lives and experiences. You can listen to a recent sermon on our Sermons page.
Kids Church
Kids are a vital part of who we are. We include kinds in every area of our church. Kids stay with their families or caregivers for the first part of our gatherings when we sing together. We have rhythm instruments at the front of the room for kids to play. Then, kids go to Kids Church and learn in an age appropriate, interactive, and engaging way the same thing their grown-ups are learning. You can learn more by visiting our Kids Ministry page.
